TCP/IP Configuration
TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol )
Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is a set of communication protocols that are used to link network devices on the internet. In a private computer network, TCP/IP is also used as a communications protocol (an intranet or extranet).
TCP/IP refers to the full IP suite, which includes a set of rules and processes. TCP and IP are the two most used protocols, although the suite also includes others. Between internet applications and the routing and switching fabric, the TCP/IP protocol suite serves as an abstraction layer.
TCP/IP Configuration in Manual
In this section, you are assumed to have correctly identified the IP address for the Ulearn System Server. Therefore, you must produce a manual on how to configure the IP address on the server. You can use any operating system to demonstrate this task. The explanation should be supported with the screenshot and appropriate explanation.
The Server Configuration Guide explains how to set up networking on the Ulearn System Server.
Step by step on how to configure the network
STEP 1
Click on Start then search "Control Panel" and click to open it.
STEP 3
Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center
Then click on Network and Sharing Center. For more details, here is for set up or configuration network for connection.
STEP 4
Network and sharing Center > click "change adapter settings"
On the left side, click on "Change adapter setting". All networks will display there.
The currently active network adapter on this host is Kediaman_Pelajar. Select the network adapter by double-clicking it. The status of the network adapter will be displayed. The IPV4 and IPV6 connectivity, as well as the speed, are all visible. To begin assigning a static IP address to this host, click Properties.
(Note: that the name of the adaptor isn't necessarily "Kediaman_Pelajar."). Please refer to the name of the network adapter you've connected.)
Properties > Double click "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)"
After selecting "Properties." The Properties of the network adapter interface will be shown. Then, double-click on "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" for setup, as we will require configuring the host's IPV4 address.
